Pirelli Motorcycle Tire Guide & Brand Overview
For over 130 years, Pirelli has been at the forefront of tire manufacturing with equally deep roots in telecommunications throughout the last century. Now the official tire of World Superbike, Pirelli has premium offerings in nearly every segment of motorsports from Sport to Touring to Cruiser to Off Road / Dual sport. The Pirelli Night Dragon is a cruiser tire especially designed to handle heavy custom bikes like the Harley Electra Glide. The Diablo SuperCorsa comes stock on many supersport bikes, such as the Ducati 1198 or the Aprilia RSV4. The Scorpion Trail was designed for larger Adventure touring bikes that spend most of their time on the road, and leaned over in the turns and the Angel with it’s double soul is the only extended mileage sport tire on the market. Check RevZillaTV for detailed videos on each tire outlined in this video.

i have a KTM 990 Adventure…is it ok to run a “S” speed rating on this bike? it seems that the stock “v” speed rating is hard to find. Thanks

LoD575 says:

Another great video from RevZilla.

I love my Diablo Rosso II’s.

RevZilla says:

Thanks for watching!

CalamityJ Rides says:

Love your videos, Anthony. I’ve been watching them for the last 18 months.. just made my first RevZilla order last week. You provide a real service to the gear buying community, so I thought I’d show my appreciation. It didn’t hurt that your prices (shipped) were the best I could find.

RevZilla says:

Thanks for the feedback CJ – Don’t ever hesitate to suggest a video or product we should shoot – Anthony

RevZilla says:

Thanks Hawk, or is it Animal? (Hopeing you get my 80’s WWF LOD reference) – Anthony

sheik siraj says:

For YAMAHA R3, which of these tyres will suit?

Genosphere says:

So I have my eye on Pirelli, either the Angel or Diabolo II, have heard good thing about the Dunlop Q3s. I ride whenever I can, sometimes caught in the rain or cold, I also do twisty roads when they are not crap. I ride in Pittsburgh so pot holes and debri scatter the roads from time to time. Summer is almost here so tend to ride a bunch.

Any suggestions from anyone on tires that fit those conditions would be awesome. Thanks!

John Monteverde says:

I love supercorsa sp’s! Been hearing good things about the dunlops gp211a but can’t muster leaving the only tires I trust.

RevZilla says:

Thanks, +belikan3! What would you recommend we do to consider all potential customers? I look forward to hearing from you and passing along your feedback. -Hi-Viz Brian

Chris Carter says:

I’m more of a street rider than track. In fact I only been on the track one time with my 10r. So with that in mind I ordered the Angel gt tires. Came in the mail today and can’t wait to try them out. 🙂 I’ll most definitely enjoy the mileage.

RevZilla says:

If you’re interested in checking out a Pirelli tire, you might prefer the way the SuperCorsa SP’s handle and you can even take them to the track.

Enrico Gripal says:

I have a Husqvarna nuda 900r i change my tires to angel gt is that ok

David Jackman says:

Hey great review. I have a small displacement street bike, but i am OFTEN up in the hills riding it like i stole it. Now im not sure Exactly what tyre to go for but i will most likely for for a Pirelli Sports Demon, Angel or Diablo Rosso II. I am not loaded on cash but i am willing to spend what i need to for my safety and for enjoymemt.
What would your recommendations be?

Arbanoz says:

so i have an R6 07 wich is my daily ride, wish to travel with it, not so much track, bit tourin, and i know i want the Pirelli tires (it came with a Pirelli in the rear and i love it) so i was wondering if the Angel its the one for me? ty and nice review!

Rael Cohen says:

No audio … can you re-upload?

Im A Lover And A Biker says:

I have the Pirelli Rosso Diablo 2…. Great tires i love them

gixxerboy555 says:

@RevZilla ..I’m a very sportive rider…which should I buy for on the road?I don’t know if I should buy a Pirelli Supercorsa SP or a Pirelli Supercorsa SC ..my 1st thought go’s out for the Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SC2 ?What do u think?Greetz..

RevZilla says:

Brand loyalty is a tough thing to overcome!

RevZilla says:

Unfortunately, most of the traditional dual sport tires are not offered in your rear tire 160/60/17 size. We’ve had lots of positive feedback on the Continental Supermoto tires if you want something that will give you better grip on loose surfaces than your Rosso Corsas. ~Ali

Ramin Musayev says:

Thanx. Good review for decide of tires for my bike. I purchased from Revzilla Diablo Rosso II.

TriumphJJ says:

Just ordered the Demon Sport Front (18) and the Angel Sport Rear (17) for my Triumph Legend. Can’t wait to break them in this weekend!

belikan3 says:

Looked in to get info on tire replacement. Some terms used by presenter were too narrow or specific. He, they, assume a certain level of knowledge by viewer. May be reasonable, but just wish a professional company would consider ALL potential customers.

voxac30withstrat says:

I have a suzi SV650S and I’m not an aggressive rider and just intend to ride to work and outings on the weekend. Currently my bike is shod with Metzeler 160/60RZ17 rear and 120.60RZ17 front. What do you recommend? I wont be riding in the wet. Thats what my car is for.
