Mrs savage has a mean right hook

Paul Ford says:

I brought all the stuff to change tyres as well. Like you I came to conclusion probably not worth it.
All wheels have a rotational arrow on them if your not sure which way the tyre should be mounted. Also there should be a dot marked on the tyre. This should be fitted near the valve.
Good effort Mark

Hello mark, I have a Peugeot Speedfight, I was driving quietly and suddenly the engine stopped on the road and did not start, what could it be?

Good work. I’ve just done the same thing. Had trouble getting them balanced. Thanks for the video.

charlie p says:

It’s not worth it in my opinion. My local mechanic charges £5 to put a tyre on using a proper mechanical machine.

Glen Whyte says:

Cheers Mark, definitely a job i won’t be doing myself but well done for doing it and sharing.
I Have a 2007 gsr600 and my tyres are shot !! Out of avons, metz01 or pr4’s which would you pick ?
Or Any recommendations welcome.

Mark Kraska says:

You did much better than i did I stuck my front tire on backward the first time. And moped tires are definitely easier

Jack Lawrence says:

Hi mark. I got a Peugeot speedfight 2. I recently brought it and it was running fine until now. It started turning off when I came to a stop. Now it won’t start at all. I had the carb cleaned yesterday and that hasn’t done anything. It was starting then cutting out, starting and cutting out. I got it going and rode it about 200 metres along the rode then it kept turning off. Now it’s completely done and won’t start. Just wondered if you could help. Thanks

Brad Richards says:

You made a gallant effort, Mark. I know the last tire was a real pisser. Good job.

Kris says:

Thank’s for a great video. I wonder how long did it take you to do both wheels – the whole process? it couldn’t have been 17 minutes for sure : ) Will you try to DIY tyre change on your Pan European?

curtis elliott says:

Good effort! Your missing the rim protectors their only a few quid n work a treat

G Hardi says:

Nice vid! paying to get them changed now seems worth if though haha. Thanks for the upload, interesting viewing!

Mr. Geek says:

Nice video bud – once you’ve got part of the bead up onto the rim thats the easy bit- back on get some on and the last bit press the tire into the middle of the wheel so you have more slack for the bead

Paul Malyjurek says:

Mark invest in some rim protectors and you should have no damage, next time
