GRIOT’S GARAGE HEAVY DUTY WHEEL CLEANER: Review, How To Use, Full Results – Auto Detailing Video

Today I review Griot’s Garage Heavy Duty Wheel Cleaner! This video was shot back in April 2017. My wheels were pretty filthy from the winter months. I thought this would be a great time to do a Griot’s Garage Heavy Duty Wheel Cleaner review. Hopefully you like this product as much as I do. It’s not the best when it comes to white lettering on tires, but it still gets your tires and rims VERY clean. If you’re looking for Griot’s Garage Wheel Cleaner, check your local Auto Zone.

In the near future, I will doing a Griot’s Garage Review on these products:
Griot’s Garage Car Wash
Griot’s Garage One Step Sealant
Griot’s Garage Interior Cleaner
Griot’s Garage Interior Detailer

rockhills says:

This isn’t ment to clean tires. It’s meant to remove embedded brake dust metals from the wheels. That’s why you should wait the recommended 3 to 5 mins. I’d also highly recommend some EZ Detail brushes to clean your wheel barrels.

Froztinc says:

The smell of this stuff makes me feel nauseated and sick to my stomach.

Andrew Backstrom says:

Use SOS pads for white lettering on the tires

Anthony S. says:

Don’t use a stiff bristle tire brush on the painted alloy rim. That’s like rule number 2 in the handbook of life.

Gray Scott says:

Super Clean degreaser is probably the best thing I’ve used for cleaning tires! It gets the tire clean on first pass about 99% of the time from my experience.

Johny Hernandez says:

It’s ok. But kinda expensive. I rather used super clean

The Wolferton Network says:

From my vantage point, it looks like the rims came cleaner than the lettering, although the tire looks tremendously cleaner….
