—–ABOUT REGULAR GUY MOUNTAIN BIKING —-
Regular Guy Mountain Biking is made up of a great group of folks that enjoy the sport of mountain biking. The crew has a mix of skill levels and we all are very down to earth. As a good friend in the group always says, “We start together and we end together”.
Other than planning out rides and trying to get more people involved in the sport we create videos generally based on mountain biking. Some of these videos are product reviews and some are basic tips and tricks.
If there is anything you would like to learn more about regarding the sport please feel free to post some comments or contact us directly via one of our social media channels 🙂 Always check out our 2017 Bike Chat videos!

Great content in your videos, Gene. I’m a recent subscriber and wishing you many more.
I like those, they are similar to Kenda K-RAD tires. I like the Duro BermMasters!! The sidewall is a little stronger, which is awesome for berms and the tread is a little bit more aggressive. Other then that they are pretty much the same. Great video though!!! Live-Life-Loud!!
Yea Gene!!! Let’s go hit Cunningham Park!!
Nice video, I can’t wait to see this bike shred!
Holy Rollers, cool name, ha ha ha! Great vid, awesome thumbnail!!!
Secret Commuter ride?
Awesome vid. Thank you, I only ride street and will look into these tires.
Woo hoo! I’m definitely buying these tires.
Thanks for the excellent tire description I was considering getting a pair of these for my XC hardtail and have now decided that they are not the correct tire for me, great video thanks for the upload.
I wonder how the cush cores would work with that setup
Can I have a question, please: Are the tires 2,40 wide? How high is the entire wheel with an inflated tire? Thanks a lot for your kind reply. Petr.
Build is looking great! I bet those tires are awesome for that bike’s purpose!
Bought a pair about two years ago, I ride nearly every day, thrashing around on the streets and cruising dirt jumps. In that time I’ve been through 3 different bikes but kept the same set of tires. The tread was starting to look worn down but they worked just fine on the jumps but yesterday the sidewall on the back tire got a hernia and the tube popped out. When I tried to lower the pressure the tube popped. So now that I’m looking around for new tires, I realize there ain’t much out there to choose from. I would really like to shed some rotational weight as the Holy rollers are on the heavy side. In the interim I have a kenda 2.35 small block 8 up front and a 2.3 k-rad in the back. Both are brand new. And I hate them. They are just as heavy but have none of the confidence inspiring grip that the ‘rollers had.. Think I’m gonna go with a 2.4 ‘roller for the front and try a DTH 2.3 for the back. If I don’t like it I’ll just put the old but still working HR back on. Holy Rollers are the best.
Really starting to look good dude.
Looking forward to seeing your review on the Holy Rollers! I’m looking to put them on a beach cruiser I have, just because I love Maxxis so much!
Nice review! I have a framed fat bike also!
I run closer to 60 psi when i Amsterdam riding street
Go Gene! I hope you remember me one day when you have millions of subscribers…. you are growing fast! Keep it up man!
I really like how this build is coming out, Gene! Really cool, man.
These are, like you show and mention in the video, the Holy Rollers, but your video is titled High Roller tires, which is another tire by Maxxis. If you have the chance, I’d recommend that you correct that title 😉
Cheers, Gene!
